William J. Burns Memorial Golf Tournament My father William J. Burns an Eagle Scout was an avid golfer
who lost his battle to the Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 68 years old. His wife Janice was his constant companion
of 44 years and driver on the golf course. Sadly, there are very few health programs that will pay for the 24 hour care of
Alzheimer’s patients. Many a young family is faced with the burden of how not only care for but how to financially pay
for the care of their parents while pursuing careers and family. There are families that have no financial means to take care
of an Alzheimer’s patient. With that in mind a decision was made to conduct the WJB Memorial Golf Tournament with proceeds
going to the Alzheimer’s Association to fight this disease. The WJB Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled
for April 9, 2011 at the Hermann Park Golf Course, 2155 N. MacGregor, Houston, Texas 77030, 713-526-0077. Contact
